TechEnergiWise respects your privacy. We're a financial analysis platform serving investment professionals in Argentina and globally. This policy explains what information we collect, why we need it, and how we protect it.
We don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers. And we're transparent about everything we do with the information you provide.
Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account with TechEnergiWise, we collect basic details: your name, email address, company affiliation, and professional role. If you're subscribing to a paid tier, we also collect billing information through our payment processor.
Usage Data
We track how you interact with our platform. Which reports you access. How long you spend analyzing different datasets. What search terms you use. This helps us understand what's useful and what isn't.
Communication Records
If you contact our support team or participate in feedback surveys, we keep those records. This includes email exchanges, chat logs, and any documents or screenshots you share with us to resolve technical issues.
How We Use Your Information
We're not collecting data just to have it. Everything we gather serves a specific purpose:

We analyze aggregate usage patterns to improve our platform. But we never examine individual user behavior for marketing purposes or share personal analysis habits with third parties.

Investment professionals trust us with sensitive research. We take that responsibility seriously.
Technical Safeguards
All data transmitted to and from TechEnergiWise uses TLS 1.3 encryption. Your passwords are hashed using bcrypt with individual salt values. We don't store payment card information directly – that's handled by our PCI-compliant payment processor.
Our databases are encrypted at rest. Access is restricted to essential personnel only, and every access attempt is logged and monitored. We run regular security audits and penetration testing through third-party specialists.
Physical Security
Our servers are hosted in SOC 2 Type II certified data centers with 24/7 physical security, biometric access controls, and redundant power systems. We maintain backups in geographically separate locations.
Employee Access
Team members only access user data when necessary for support requests or technical troubleshooting. All employees sign confidentiality agreements and complete annual security training.
Argentina Privacy Law Compliance
As a company operating in Argentina, we comply with Law 25,326 (Personal Data Protection Act) and regulations from the National Directorate for Personal Data Protection (DNPDP).
Registration and Oversight
TechEnergiWise maintains registration with the DNPDP database registry. Our data processing activities are documented and available for regulatory review upon request.
Cross-Border Transfers
Some of our technical infrastructure providers operate servers outside Argentina. When we transfer data internationally, we ensure those countries provide adequate protection levels recognized by Argentine law, or we implement additional safeguards through contractual clauses.
You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data at any time. You can also object to certain processing activities or request data portability. These rights are guaranteed under Argentine law and we respect them fully.

Request a complete copy of all personal information we hold about you. We'll provide it in a readable format within 10 business days.
Correct Inaccuracies
Update outdated or incorrect information directly through your account settings, or contact us to make corrections.
Delete Your Account
Request complete deletion of your account and associated data. We'll remove everything except what we're legally required to retain.
Export Your Information
Download your analysis history, saved reports, and account data in portable formats (CSV, JSON).
Restrict Processing
Limit how we use your data while we investigate a complaint or verify information accuracy.
Withdraw Consent
Opt out of optional data collection features or marketing communications at any time.
How to Exercise These Rights
Send requests to [email protected] with the subject line "Privacy Rights Request". We'll verify your identity and respond within 10 business days. There's no fee for reasonable requests, though we may charge for excessive or repetitive queries.
Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. That's about it.
Essential Cookies
These make the platform work. Session authentication, security tokens, and basic functionality. You can't opt out of these without losing access to core features.
Analytics Cookies
We use first-party analytics to understand platform usage. No third-party tracking. No advertising networks. Just aggregate data about what features get used and what doesn't work well.
Preference Cookies
These remember your dashboard layout, chart settings, and display preferences. They make your experience more convenient but aren't technically necessary.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Just know that blocking essential cookies will break the platform's functionality.
Third-Party Services
We work with a small number of trusted service providers who help us operate the platform:
These providers only receive the minimum information needed to perform their specific functions. They're contractually prohibited from using your data for their own purposes or sharing it with anyone else.
We don't integrate with social media platforms, advertising networks, or data brokers. Your financial research activity stays private.
Data Retention
We don't keep data longer than necessary. When you close your account, most information is deleted within 30 days.
What Gets Deleted Immediately
Your analysis history, saved reports, dashboard configurations, and preference settings are removed from active systems within 30 days of account closure.
What We Keep Longer
Argentine tax law requires us to retain billing records for seven years. We also keep basic account information (name, email, subscription dates) for fraud prevention and legal compliance purposes.
Backup systems may retain deleted data for up to 90 days before it's permanently overwritten, but this data isn't accessible for normal operations.
Changes to This Policy
We'll update this policy occasionally as our practices evolve or laws change. Significant modifications will be announced through email and a prominent notice on the platform at least 30 days before they take effect.
Continued use of TechEnergiWise after changes go live means you accept the updated terms. If you disagree with modifications, you can close your account before they become effective.
Previous versions of this policy are archived and available upon request for transparency.
Children's Privacy
TechEnergiWise is a professional financial analysis tool. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 years old. If we discover we've inadvertently gathered data from a minor, we'll delete it immediately.
